Hi, everyone!

Thank you for your enthusiasm in playing Jest Messters' demo!

In this devlog, I'd like to talk about JM demo's route walkthrough, android build, future plans, and a survey (wow, that's a lot).

JM Demo Route Walkthrough 

*slight spoiler alert*

As you may have known, JM's otome jam demo contains 5 chapters of the common route, and 1 chapter of each LI's route (Rico, Seth, Matt, and Phoenix). 

Just in case you don't know how to get into their routes, only one choice in the demo determines which route you are taking, which is the "field day activity" choice.

So basically:

• Biodiversity surveillance  --> Rico
• Trail Maintenance --> Matt
• Birdhouse Building --> Seth
• Logistics --> Phoenix

However, note that this is only for the demo. In the full game, some routes are locked behind another's, and it may be a point-based system instead. As for whose route is locked... I'll keep it a mystery for now, hehe ;)

Android Build

The Android build is up! You can download the APK file into your Android device.

Note that  you might need to turn on "allow apps to install from unknown sources" in your phone settings.

Also note that when you start a new game, the text input field may be cut off by the on-screen keyboard. Other than that, there shouldn't be any game breaking bugs... If you encounter any, feel free to drop a comment here.

Future Plans

We are working on creating an Extended Demo for Jest Messters containing new sprites, new scenes, new CGs, a collectible/achievement system, new soundtracks, and a longer common route.

We will release the extended demo on itch.io and Steam, and we estimate it to be out by October 2025. 

After that, we'll work on crowdfunding... I hope you will support us when JM's Kickstarter is announced!

The full game is expected to be released in Q4 2026 or Q1 2027 if all goes well.

I will try to post devlogs every month regarding JM's progress! Don't mind me spamming your inbox, hehe.
