FINALLY, FINALLY, THE DAY WE'VE (or at least I've) BEEN WAITING FOR HAS ARRIVED!

I am so so so stoked to release the first version of Jest Messters' demo for Otome Jam 2025, and I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Some of you may know that Jest Messters is a remake of a The Punniest Pun Messter, a much older game I created in 2020. It was completed, yes, but with numerous grammatical mistakes, ear-splitting stock music, and art that looked like it was drawn by a dying chicken. Feeling that my beloved audience and characters deserve better than that, I decided to archive the old build and worked on remaking it.

Fortunately, I've found trustworthy comrades along my gamedev journey, including April, an incredibly talented artist I worked with for Of Frost and Flowers in Otome Jam 2023, and Mijil Pamungkas, the brilliant composer for Re:Curse who crafts music that just resonates with your soul. Both April and Mijil are involved heavily in this project, and this demo wouldn't be possible without their blood, sweat, and tears. Thank you, both of you!

Anyway, onto some things you should take note before playing this game:

• This is a "rough" demo created for Otome Jam with missing assets. We will be creating an extended demo with completed sprites, CGs, more original music, and new features such as inventory collection and achievements.
• Please expect some placeholder sprites and unshaded sprites for a few characters. Don't worry, this will be fixed in the upcoming update and will not affect your gameplay at all.
• Content warning: Though generally lighthearted, be warned that Jest Messters contains mild mentions of violence, profanity, weapons, and really bad jokes.
• Feel free to let me know if there are any bugs, grammatical mistakes, or suggestions to make the game better.
